Cool Fun trade mark on Naga Dao.

I got this nice old Dao from ebay. For some reason there was only one other bid so i got it for a song. Shown here with one that does not look quite as old. I like this bare feet trade mark. Maybe some rural tool collector knows more about it. It could be from Britain or British India.

Default Perhaps formerly a hoe ...

Rawson says that many of the 19th C and later Naga dao were made from hoes stolen from British tea plantations (owing to the shortage of good iron and steel in the area). This may be an example of such a dao that was made from a hoe.

Ian.
