Default Mystery 21.5" Spear Head??

Greetings

First try ... hope it works. Included 5 Pictures.

Picked up some great weapons from a local auction last week. A nice presentation Kukri, Nepalese Kora, Persian wootz Jambiya, and a small wootz double Bichwa dagger.

I also picked up a 21.5" mystery spear with brass rosette and a couple strange rivets for cheap. The spear is rather crude but shows some nice age and has seen some action.

My thoughts are African or perhaps Southeast Asia??

Any help would be appreciated.

Best Regards
Rob

My guess is China or a neighbouring state.

I can't day anything helpful about the spearhead, but the other items are all far. Please show us more detail.

Looks more like an Arab/indopersian lance point to me.

I think you are right, it should be India...

The brass decorations look a bit like those found on arabian daggers, jambiah, khanjar and dharia. Could have been added later, lots of trade between india/arabia.

Rob,
I'd love to see more detail of the kora and the bichwa. Overall, a really nice addiction haul.

Ha! Autocorrect strikes! I meant to say, "a nice auction haul" but such finds DO make this hobby addicting.

Thank You for your messages.

Here are a few more detailed pictures of the Kora and Bichwa.

The Kora is well made and still sharp. Rather substantial blade.

The Bichwa is about 9" long and has brass rosettes on both sides. Nice little weapon.

Somebody had a great collection which has now filled some holes in Mine.

Best Regards
Rob

Really nice. Is that pattern welding I see on the Bichwa?

Hello

The Bichwa definitely has pattern welding but is is subtle at this point.

Cheers

Seeing as it's next to that awesome Kora and Kukri, my guess is Nepal?
