Default Please help read the Arabic inscription on a tulwar blade.

I tried to pinpoint the regional attribution by the shape of the hilt, but it's proven to be a difficult task.
Blade has a couple of koftgari cartouches in what looks like Arabic. One has survived better than the other. Any help with translation would be appreciated!

Hi Dmitry
truely, one of both is illegible
the second, it might be possible to read ... under reserve
MASHALLAH either WHATEVER ALLAH (GOD) WISH

then under

TA'FAR could be (?) a name .. ?

no more, I'm sorry, but very nice tulwar
