Default old man shape keris hilt

found this keris hilt recently, but I cant figure out where it came from, java? bali? lombok?.
The age its self seem old, but the detail carving work seem quite good.

From pic it seems very old. A very nice hilt . Maybe Lombok

I have one hilt with something in common with your, but mine is, without doubts, 'much more' common. Compliments

Thanks Marco, I think it must be from out side java since human figure often found in balinese or lombok keris hilts.

Nice carving in spite of some disproportioned parts... Such "pornographic" hilts are shown in the EK on page 498 but the origin is not specified unless I overlooked it.
Regards

Hello Ferrylaki,

this hilt is recent manufacture from Madura so please send it to me that I can depollute it (in my collection!).

Seriously I think it is a very nice and intersting hilt from Lombok. How high is it?

Regards,

Detlef
