Updates...
Hi all,
Do check out new updates, pieces for auction. The Malay Heirloom Auction is an effort to raise fund for the perpetuation of the Malay heritage through Malay Heritage Foundation in Singapore. The organisers hope that Persada Pusaka will create a greater awareness and appreciation of Malay material culture amongst Singaporeans, encouraging a culture of collecting valuable heirlooms and showcasing them in a proper manner and at the same time, to help heirloom collectors to realise the deserved value and worth of their collections. It is hoped that this event will be a catalyst for an annual event that will grow to include collectors from around the world. As global interest in history and traditional heritage is growing, the organisers believe that the time is ripe to introduce Malay materials, culture and tradition to a bigger audience.
