hello together
I had completely forgotten to introduce myself, sorry. My name is Christoph, I'm 42 years old and come from Switzerland. I'm collecting for more than 25 years of weapons. I started with firearms, edged weapons, and then to the army for 15 years Ethnology knives and daggers of max. Length 50cm (with exceptions).ca. 300 pieses across through the world. I finance my hobby when I buy something little and then sell, mainly Army edged weapons. I hope you can learn a lot and a little bit of me. This is my kingdom, foto grüsse chregu |

Welcome to the forum Christoph,
Nice (diverse) collection and nice loghouse. In my country you have to visit the sauna to see such an interior (apart from the weapons that is) best regards, Willem Last edited by asomotif; 3rd February 2010 at 11:31 PM. |

I collect knives and daggers, makes sense a length limit. By raising is also available: keris bali, barong, moro keris, Khyber knife, Mandau ...... with the images it will take some time. a question: where do I put pictures to introduce you to? |

Christoph
Nice group of daggers. From left to right. 1) An Afar Jile/gile dagger mid 20th century. 2) A Beja dagger 1940-50? 3) A Possible Hausa dagger mid 20th century. 4) Sudanese arm dagger circa 1890-1900. 5) Another Hausa or Sudanese dagger 1940? 6) A Somali Bilao dagger 1930s-50. 7) Another nice Sudanese arm dagger 1900-1920 need to see the blade to be sure? 8and 9 are Sudanese but seem touristy to me 1940s-50s? 10) Another Somali dagger 1920s-40. Bottom right two more Somali daggers the small one is more recent the other is much older. Can't really tell much about the others but they seem Sudanese. |
