need images information abaut persian iron sword with bronze heandle
I would ask if someone in forum have images and information regarding persian double pommel bronze heandle swords with iron blade ....
i think the type is iranian bronze age... thank you for your help. regards |

Are you researching one of your own? Have a look at these Iron swords: http://www.worldmuseumofman.org/disp...82-581-576-578 Many of these pieces are associated with Luristan so if you google 'luristan iron sword' or 'luristan bronze sword' you'll find something. Swords with bronze hilts and cast iron blades are rarer, here is one sold by christies: |

thank you at all for reply.... I m searching information regarding this type in photo in particular with cross guard near the forte of the blade like design with photoshop...... if someone can help me thank you very much . regards

Hi BD,
Most of the examples that I've seen on various sites while trying to research mine (with hilt elements that curl down onto the blade) are 'all bronze'. The Iron and bronze types are all much less common. You might not find something 'exactly' the same.
