Default Could you help me identify this knife?

I've been told a thing or two about this knife - told it was extremely valuable but would like a second opinion.

1. Do you know it's history?
2. Do you have your own estimate of what it's worth?

I honestly didn't see anything in the FAQs about value or open auctions. Respectfully, what's with all the rules?
