Some sort of disc mace, axe hybrid. Probably mot much help, but the mace part reminds me a bit of a few of the disc maces shown in this video, specifically around 3:44:

Lot Description
Pre-Columbian, Northern Peru, Inca, ca. 1438 to 1533. Among the finest Inca maces we have handled, a cast copper mace head presenting a star-pattern with a single axe blade/celt emerging from one end, and five points radiating around the rest of the perimeter. A very lethal weapon made to be attached to a solid shaft used to bludgeon one's adversaries, or perhaps as a decorative helmet ornament to highlight the warrior's ferocity! In addition to being an extremely lethal weapon designed for destruction, the star form attests to the ancients' reverence for the celestial realm. A very special example with fabulous rich umber and bright green patina. Size: 5.5" L x 2.25" H (14 cm x 5.7 cm)

The form and structure of the mace allowed the Incas to strike their enemies with deadly blows during close combat - ultimately contributing to their reputation as fearsome warriors.
