Default Bolo/parang knife of unknown origin

This arrived today. Wondering if anyone could ID origin? I imagine it’s Filipino. It’s a utilitarian piece showing considerable use, damage etc. It’s definitely chisel ground. There are aspects that remind me of the Zamboanga knife I posted here (http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ight=Zamboanga), specifically the notch holding the twine wrap.

Hi WW. Interesting old general purpose bolo. I don't think this one is from Mindanao. The chisel ground edge suggests the Visayas to me.

The thumb depression is consistent with older manufactured Gareb, Talibon, Talibong (What's in a name?), from the Visayas region.
