Default Engraved Crown and Wreath on Dirk.

Can anyone help my ID this engraving on a Dirk?

Is it a standard Army type motif?

I know it's not what you asked for, but I thought I could add a little about the form. British-form dirk with the 'propeller-type' guard, ca. 1790-1805 form, the types used by midshipmen/navy, used by army and infantry as well.
I'll have to check some references in the morning...

I think it is more likeley to be a simplified version of the owner's family coat of arms.

Richard
