Punal, kris #1 I would say is Tausug and possibly around the early 1800s

Kris #2 I would guess as Maguinanao, but possibly the hilt may be post 1900.

I tend to agree with you Jose on the hilt on #2. It looks like a really nice 20th century hilt. I wouldn't be surprised if it is fairly recent. I have seen quite a few nicely made new hilts on some old kris of late. Many of them have ivory kakatus that have been dyed for an aging effect. I think a lot of these old blades get rehilted specifically to increase their resale with new hilts that are made to look older.

I'd guess Tausug on the first one, the blade maybe 18C, maybe earlier. The second one looks like what Cato describes as "cross-over", so I would again just say Mindanao. The blade looks old, 1800? At least some of the work on the hilt looks to be recient, at least after 1960.
