Default Timonium Seminar 2010: Call for table presentations

I am sending this out rather late this year, as the Seminar is almost upon us (see Announcement at the top of the Forums).

A popular feature of the Seminar has been the table presentations we have on the sidelines, and we would like to do that again this year. So, I am again calling upon interested Forumites to submit ideas for table presentations for this year’s Seminar. It is a great way to share your latest discovery, or special interest, without the formality of a stand-up talk (and also lets us wedge even more topics into the seminar)

They do not have to be elaborate, but they should go beyond a simple display of weapons, such as for example by display of an accompanying poster of explanatory text, or printed hand-out. Nor do they need to be of any particular scope – in a past year for example we had a very nice presentation of a rare Vietnamese shield. Below are some pictures of presentations from years past, to give an idea of what they are all about. More examples can be seen in this thread: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...+presentations

We have room for around 5 or 6 side tables, and a presentation can be either a full or a half table in size.

Please send me your ideas via PM or e-mail to mark@vikingsword.com.

We still have space for table presentations. Share your latest discovery or interesting tid-bits of weapon-related minutia!
