Default Latest acquisition, a Marsh Arab Khanjar.

Went to the local Militaria and Arms fair last Sunday, as so often the case saw little that "spoke to me" on the first go round. On the second round bought a few items that I saw as being just OK, got home and thought, these are more than OK, I am well chuffed! Funny how being tired and overly focused can affect your perception.....
One of the items I got was this Marsh Arab dagger. Flat diamond blade of not at all bad temper and shape, and a plain hilt of very weathered horn or very hard wood. Wood and leather scabbard in rather poor shape, but I can live with that for what it cost me.
Bargains are still to be had, if you "endeavour to persevere".
