Default Help identify inherited blade

Hello viewing audience.
This blade was passed on to me all i know is it was taken from a deceased Wehrmact soldier in WW2 , at least that's what i was told.
Looks ceremonial to me, middle eastern perhaps that's about as good as i can guess. Been in family for 7 decades at least it has not been retouched in any way, shape or form. I am a history buff in many forms this item has me deeply intrigued.
Thanks in advance

It is a 20th century souvenir. My best guess it is from Iran , based on the figure of a warrior. Potentially, it might be Turkish.
