Default old dahong palay

hello i just bought this old dahong palay on ebay.its nothing special.im just curious to know how old it is.i havent received it yet, the pictures i attached are from the seller.judging from the pictures the leather looks very old and judging by the grip/hilt on it, im guessing it was made around late 1800's or early 1900's?
also which region in luzon do you think it was made?id say central or north luzon.
any info would be great guys..thanks in advanced.

full length 20.5' blade 15'
the blade looks like good quality steel.

cheers guys,

Nice bolo, reminds me to this one from my collection: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=15148

I like very much the very nice leather scabbard with the beautiful embossing similar to the one from my tabak, see here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ighlight=tabak

Agree with you about the age, around 1900 seems to be a good guess.

Regards,

Detlef
