Default Brass Ewer for ID

Amongst other things, I have a few Ewers in my collection, all of which I have managed to pin down the origin of except this one. Even Dr GOOGLE has not been a help this time!
The spike unscrews to allow filling and it stands 34cm tall. Nice age patina and the random decoration does not depict either plants or animals.
Any help with origin would be appreciated.

Default Low confidence guess

I surely do not know where it is from, but I believe that I have seen a similar style and technique of design in brass work from India.

Thanks for the reply Lee. Not Indian IMHO, though the decoration may be similar. The style is quite different from any Indian Ewers I have seen (or are shown on GOOGLE).

I am inclined to a Chinese origin myself.
