Smile Shona dagger for comment

Hi guys.
Today I receive this Shona dagger (bakatwa), Southern African population. As you can see from the photos on the handle and on the scabbard there are brass wire work.
All comments are welcome.

Hi,that looks like an excellent blade,what a shame about the wire.I had one of these some years ago, I now wish I had never swaped it.Tim

Hi Tim,
some parts of the wire are missed and the wire on the handle has been stopped with a fused metal enough strange.
I have tried to remove it, but I have left to be in order to not ruin the
wire taht is quite delicate.
