Pattern proto mortury sword Royal Armouries
There a small group of 9 swords in the Royal Armouries with a single example of the style in the National Army Museum that all look like this
https://collections.royalarmouries.o...ect-23443.html The NAM example is this one https://collection.nam.ac.uk/detail....c=1964-08-34-5 I can recall seeing other examples of this style for sale but can not for the life of me remember where. Has anyone seen this style in auctions or other museums ? |

I’m not sure if my local Museum has one (it does look familiar). I don’t know if this will work- it’s a virtual tour: HERE
Alternatively, go to google maps, search CMSM Maldon, scroll down the menu on the left and there should be a ‘360 view’ in the photo section. The museum's website: https://www.cmsm.co.uk/collections/a...1800bc-1800ad/ - Last edited by fernando; 21st April 2020 at 04:50 PM. Reason: Link simplified |
