HELP WITH KATAR AGE

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone out there can give me some insite as to how old this peice is, havnt seen one quite like it before but Im going to go ahead and say its more recently made due to the quality of the gold kagafari but it does look like the blade might be older? I have quite a few with european style blades like this one. Any thing would be a help

blade is new also. It might have a year or 2 of age but not much more
