Default Restored shamshir

I found this high-quality Shamshir in a rather poor condition. Apart from rust, it had a missing pommel cap and tang bands. The grip scales too were bad fittings.

Since I couldn't find an original pommel cap, the entire grip scales, pommel cap, and tang band were reconstructed by a professional.

The result seems good, but I still think the original parts might have looked better. Any thoughts?

Very impressive; I can not wait to see what you do with the scabbard.
