Default origin of spear head?

i am a second year conservation and resoration student, and i have recieved this spear head as an object to conserve from nottingham city museum and i really need to know where its from and its date, if that is at all possible. From the research that i've done so far, i think it might be from southern central Africa. It was found wrapped in newspaper in 1932 in England. Any help and information would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
ID'ing spearheads can be extremely difficult. Certain tribes/regions have distinct characteristics...many do not. Could you post larger photos with close-ups of any interesting features ? Dimensions would be useful too...my initial thought is that it may be from the Congo Region ....but that is a 'guess-timate'

Regards David
