Default The Making Of A Navaja

Hi Folks,

This is a link to the first of a six part series on the making an Alabacete style navaja by hand. This is the most detailed film on the subject that I know of.

Enjoy

Very interesting, thanks for posting this.
As one who is mostly self taught, this was very interesting to watch. The hacksaw blade was a novel usage.
I may have to try something with a horn handle some day!

ah, the ratcheting navajas, the last sound you want to hear because it likely will be the last sound you ever hear! click-click-click-click-click

thanks for posting. now i know more about how my humble ones were made.

(for scale, larger one (6 in. blade) is 13" from point to end of the grip when opened fully, the baby one is 7in. (3in. blade))
