Default Afghan Pulwar!

My first pulwar arrived today, from Afghanistan via a stopover in Germany. Nice, solid example that has, if the amount of blade loss due to sharpening is any indication, seen a lot of service. Dimensions: Hilt is 4 1/4" from flat disc pommel to quillions, Blade is 29" measured in straight line from hilt to point, 1 1/2" wide and 5/16" thick at hilt. False edge is 10". Blade has a few spots of active rust on the edge, other that it's in fine polish with enough of an etch to show the pattern welding whish has a nice flow to it.

Let me know what you think!
