Colonial machete with unusual hilt with pictures
Reciently I have bought this machete http://www.antiqueswords.com/product...--ca.-1900.htm
, and I´m wondering about the hilt, because is very similar with some bolos of Philippines, the blade and the leather scabbard is normal, like anothers machetes used by Spanish in Cuba and Philippines. Opinions? Best regards carlos To moderatos; I know this is german manufacture, but Like I´m wondering about hilt I have post here, if you think this post can be changed, ok. thanks Last edited by carlos; 13th April 2011 at 07:48 PM. |

Doesn't look like a machete blade to me. In that incarnation it looks like a hunting sword.
Very strange, but really nice! The tip is very odd. |
