Default Albanian all metal pistol

Albanian all metal pistol
This pistol is very heavy ,the body made in massive cast bronze
the same shape are seen on some European pistols

Hi Jean-Luc,

It was advertised as Albanian but it is Greek!!
(trigger, trigger guard, decorations...)
It's a very good catch as always!
Look at this one in the National Historical Museum in Athens.

Hi Cerjak

I agree with Kubur. That is a nice Greek pistol. And in a style you don't normally encounter. It's a bit hard to tell from the patina on the lock plate, but it appears to have originally been made in flintlock. Due to the nice matching engraving on the hammer, the conversion to percussion may have been carried out by the same gunsmith who originally made the pistol (?)
