Default Javanese(???) Parang

I believe this attractive parang is from Java, perhaps Sumatra, and it shows some European influence. It may have even been made for a European.

Input welcomed.

Dimensions:
Overall length: 24in.
Blade length: 18in.
Blade's widest point: 1.5in.

Hello Charles,

Since no one want to comment I will give it a try. Yes it look Javanese to my eyes but I am unsure.

Would be nice to know what Alan think about it!

Regards,
Detlef

Alan thinks its Jawa.

Very common Jawa blade style, very superior dress. Its a nice thing.
