Default New Keris, Some questions

Hi All,

Long time since I posted here. I acquired this Keris last week.
I think it is a “recent” blade from the 1950ies?
Can you help me with the pamor type?

Thank you in advance,
Michel

Michel, keris production really halted during WWII and didn't start up again until the the mid-1970s. I would say that your keris was made in Madura, probably not until sometime in the 1980s or 90s.

Yes, I agree with that, I think 1980's, not 1990's.

Pamor is wos wutah (beras wutah, wosing wutah), it is a random pamor, the pattern is accidental, not intentional.

Thank you both very much, Learned something, I didn’t knew about the production stop.
Thanks for the pamor identification.

Kind regards,
Michel
