Default PERCUTION JETZAIL

I've attached a few photos of one percussion djezail, there is no one mark on it.
The barrel seems older than the gun ,there is a great work on it in the hidden face and I just saw this works when I was removing the barrel.
I’m wondering if it is a typical barrel from Afghanistan.
Thanks in advance for any info!

the barrel seems very similar with 18 th century turkish shishana tufek muskets- we have a number of them in our museum and the shape also the aiming components(visier & ziel) are the same. I think it s a 18 c barrel with conversion from flintlock to percussion of course

It is an Afghan jezail not doubt about it. The barrels were made locally(back then better artisans) or imported from Persia or the Ottoman empire. The barrel is damascus, which adds a bit value to the item. Usually the were flintlocks but I have see a few percussion ones. The stock looks original, most stocks are newer nowadays. but good find. suprising that the lock has not markings.

Thank you AJ and Sergiu
It is right that many stocks are newer on the JETZAIL we find in the market but this one has an original one.
