Thumbs up Nice display

I checked with H. Westerdijk in his book 'IJzerwerk van Centraal-Afrika' (Ironwork from Central Africa) (1975).

On page 119 he shows a some drawings of similar arrow heads. According to the author these come from Northwestern Congo (Ubangi-Mongala-area). He writes that these arrow heads were produced in large quantities and used as currency. The arrow heads are usually fitted to shafts with no feathering.

The tribes in this area are : Ngbandi, Bati, Ngombe, Ngbaka
