THE GET TOGETHER OCCURS TWICE A YEAR IN LOUISVILLE AND WE ALL GO TO LOOK FOR TREASURES FOR OUR COLLECTIONS AND SOME SELL SOME OF THEIR ITEMS. WE GET TOGETHER TO LOOK OVER THE ITEMS OFFERED AND PERHAPS POINT OUT SOMETHING AT THE SHOW IN THE OTHERS FIELD OR GET OPINIONS ON ITEMS. SOME OF US GET TOGETHER FOR SUPPER OF AN EVENING AND FURTHER SOCIALIZE AND PERHAPS TRADES MAY BE MADE.
THERE ARE OTHER GUN SHOWS IN THE AREA BUT THESE SHOWS ARE THE BEST FOR EDGED WEAPONS AND ETHINOGRAPHIC ITEMS. THIS EARLY SHOW IS THE BEST BECAUSE THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE SHOWS RUNNING ON THE SAME WEEKEND AT THE SAME BUILDING ON THE FAIR GROUNDS. THE LATER SHOW IS GOOD TOO AND GENERALLY A BIT LARGER AS IT IS A SINGLE SHOW. ALL THREE SHOWS ARE LARGE AND PERHAPS A BIT LARGER THAN THE BALTIMORE SHOW BUT NOT AS SPECIALIZED. THE BALTIMORE SHOW ALLOWS ONLY ANTIQUES AT LEAST 100 YEARS OLD NO MODERN GUNS, KNIVES OR AMMO. I HIGHLY RECOMEND ALL THREE SHOWS. THE GET TOGETHER IS INFORMAL AND WE WOULD BE GLAD FOR ANY OTHER FORUM MEMBERS TO JOIN IN. AS WE SAY DOWN SOUTH "YOU ALL COME" WE ARE A FINE LOOKING BUNCH ARENT WE |

The cute one with the pink top and green booties is hanging with the wrong crowd. I know I've seen photos of 5 or 6 of them in the Post Office...
By the smiles on their faces, I'm judging there was a lot of fun and camaraderie. Nice going guys. |

She has beauty with good taste to boot.
It's never too early to start collecting. I'm sure she has a good mentor. |
