DON'T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF IT IS DEFINITELY NOT CRAP BUT YOU MAY HAVE PAID TOO MUCH FOR WHAT IT TURNS OUT TO BE. (IT HAPPENS TO US ALL )
THE LARGEST STINGRAY PELT I SAW WAS 22 X 8 IN. I DID NOT FIND THE SPECIES BUT JUDGEING FROM THE SIZES I SAW IT IS NOT A VERY LARGE ONE AND EVIDENTLY A COMMON BYCATCH IN INDONESIAN AS WELL AS THAI WATERS. THEY ARE SELLING A LOT OUT OF THAILAND AS WELL AS BALI, I HAVE ADDED SOME PIC'S ONE DYED PELT, ONE BURGUNDY DYE,ONE NATURAL AND ONE FANCY DYES. IT MAY NOT BE THE EXACT SAME SPECIES AS YOUR SPECIMIN BUT WILL GIVE YOU A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT THE MATERIAL LOOKS LIKE DYED AND OTHERWISE. |
