Would you happen to have any flyssa in your collection? I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to those.

No the walls are perfectly solid .. I just use double nail brass picture hooks and wire.
My mistake, and my most sincere apologies to your ancient abode! I'm so used to tapping nails and picture hooks into drywall that I stare at solid wall displays with the bewilderment of a monkey staring at a centrifuge...

The house forgives you . It is a solid Victorian wall which is decorated ( original ) in ashlar which is plaster work made to simulate stone blocks .. a favourite in the Victorian Gothic revival .. so the picture hooks go easily into the very thick horsehair plaster no problem and make good purchase.. havent had a faller yet !

Ah well I ought to support the Wirral team .. Tranmere Rovers , but as I dont like footy .. I dont support any of the 3 .. all my friends however are keen Liverpool fans ..
