A lot of us here was born within or has choosen different religious options, which makes it that Christmas rituals, in one account, may be "off topic" for them.
But still there is a great deal envolved in these moments, apart from religion, like wishing good health and all the best for actually everyone.

Have you all nailed a pair of pantyhose to the mantelpiece? It is better than a stocking, as there will be room for two swords .

Bill you forgot the Danish version. God jul og godt nytĺr.

With so many members of differing nationalities, cultures, religions and beliefs, it is fantastic to see the friendship shown.

Ironic that our interest in weapons, used to kill and maim, unites us. Why? I feel in studying ethnographic weapons we develop understanding and respect for other cultures. So rather than wish everyone a 'Merry Christmas' ......I wish everyone.....in the true 'essence' of the celebration...

Peace and Goodwill to you and your family

Sincerely David
