Thank you. Problem is that I have very little room, have to compromise with my Mrs, have to keep this stuff out of the baby's reach and can't seem to manage to focus in one area. I've recently made a new rack which holds swords and larger knives/daggers. No sign of a Kukri solution, which is becomming a problem. But there are always the single 'odd' pieces like the Macana Club and Khanjar, and finding individual solutions for these is always something I'm working on. Whenever I am at a flea market I always look for little stands to use/modify for display of problem pieces. I have quite a few of them in various boxes ready for future possibilities I've often thought of using vintage bear/doll stands (see below). It's amazing the variety of different methods used by our fellow forumites. Best Gene |

You should tease us with those beauties individually. It's too much to take in all at once |

For those on the budget, or conflicted by space consideration, in my opinion the least expensive way to store and display small pieces, like dirks, daggers, etc., would be in glass top cardboard cases, like these. They protect your collection from dust, frivolous fingers, etc., and allow for various display options. They are very inexpensive, in the $15-$20 range. I have three of them, 42x32 cm, and they are fantastic for small [read tiny] armories, like mine.
Here's an unaffiliated link to a great website for all kinds of display ideas. http://www.usadisplay.net/plexi/plex...hardboard.html |
