Default Shield for ID (which tribe ?) / northern Subsaharian Africa

The shield was bought in Maroua (Northern Cameroon, near Tchad). It is cca 30 cm wide and cca 1 meter long. Body is made of light wooden hull, reinforced with leather strips and bamboo splints.
Regards,
Martin
