Default Classic Zulu "Iklwa" Stabbing Spear For A Person of Status

I typically do not collect weapons from sub-Saharan Africa, but I have a soft spot for Zulu weapons, and could not resist this.

It is a classic Zulu iklwa with a large stabbing head showing heavy patination as does the short haft and wirework. The ivory haft butt is a nice embellishment, rather unusual, and shows a lovely patination.

This one was confiscated by Natal police in the early 20th Century.

Uuuusuthuu!!

I doubt it Flavio, though there are Swazi characteristics. I have a pretty solid source and provenance on this one.
