Smile Jeff.Ada pics,British museum.

Here are some not very good photos from the British Museum.I tried to email them to you some time ago,but as you know our PC's do not seem to talk to each other.I still have an un answered question about the ada you obtianed in South Africa,perhaps we could use the message service here. I was hoping to see the British museum pieces. I have included a couple that i have found on the net plus my own.
I have tried again to send an e-mail and a PM to see if they work any better on the new system.

Hello Jeff ,looking at your example,I am wondering if the wax runners have been left on after the cast on the pommel.I could well be wrong,but as you know,wax modeling and sculpting for casting in bronze and precious metals is my trade.Saying that I would not touch them even if I was correct.Tim

Thanks Tim,

I agree the leopard is outstanding. Unfortunately it was being sold as a Benin bronze rather then a African edged weapon, which placed it way out of my league .
