Kudi or Kujang
Dear All,
I like to see the original form of kudi, or people in West Java call them kujang, like this. These photos were taken from the pusakas cupboard at Keraton (Palace) Kasepuhan Cirebon by a National Geographic photographer for the Keris Magazine. Any bibliography on kudi or kujang? My Kudi Collection
These are my two collections of Kujang,
The second type, the Kudi Trancang or Kujang according to West Javanese, actually had been design by the old Pajajaran ruler, as a reflection or image of their kingdom. Look, the kudi is like the form of West Java and a part of Central Java. So the form itself is quite philosophical at that time... |
