Default Shamshir ,But From Where?

I went to a local Gun Show this weekend(actually a glorified fee market with purses, ammunition ,beef jerky, etc.,), and halfway through it, as I was wondering why I wasted $14.00 and my time, I spotted this simple, but honest shamshir(at least that is what I think it is).
The blade measures 31" and the handle appears to be pinned;does anyone know where this sword comes from?

While I understand that this may not as specific of an attribution as you may be looking for, it is definitely an Ottoman shamshir.

Thank you TVV;I thought that might be one of the possibilities.

That would have been my guess... Does it have the typical stitching on the back of the scabbard?

Yes, in the middle of the scabbard on one side.

Thank you Drac! I got it about almost 50 years ago, fascinated by the deeo curve and slotted scabbard to allow it to withdraw.
