Default Turkish 17-18th century dagger

This particular model with short Damascus blade and -star- marks was common in 17th c. and 1st half of 18th c.I seek more precise dating if there are satisfactory references about, to determine if it is from 17th or 18th c. The intensive usage of tulip figure can be attributed to Tulip Era (1718-30) but tulips were already popular even before.

Beautiful piece! Would like to see it with cleaned and etched blade.
