Agree with Maurice, a Batak sword, when it is old and not recent it is a great find.

Interestingly, this is the 3rd example of this exact form and piece, matching from the hilt to the scabbard decorations in recent months. Two were at high end tribal art dealers and Jimmy's which I'm pretty sure he picked up at a gun show. Just a coincidence that 3 show up at the same time, looking the same, and each seem to show good quality and maybe even some age, or is there something else going on?
