This picture was sent to me with the question what is written here.
It is a part of a scabbard of an Indonesian badek. Can anybody help? I am trying to get more photo's (only a part of the text is visible on this photo). |

Better photo
Todat I received a photo of the complete inscription. Can anybody tell me what it means? The '1872' now looks like 1892 or does in mean something else?
