just won this early tourist talibon by epray. One of the nicest I have seen until now, do you agree?

just won it! it's still in the States so i don't know but hope that it is a nice blade which is similar qality like the dress.

BTW, does someone know where I can purchase shell plates to restore the two missing inlays?

Very nice tourista piece. Any good craft store should have bags of bits and pieces of shell, and stone. If nothing else, they'll have shell buttons. A fabric shop will have buttons as well.

Well the thing is that you would have to work the mother-of-pearl to match the rest of the pieces.

For larger pieces of MOP you can check out knife making suppliers who have MOP blank scales. That is where I got some of my MOP for a Moro kris restoration years ago.
