Bullova Axe
Just won this bullova axe off of ebay. It appears to be of fairly good quality. What do you guys think?

A NICE ONE AT A FAIR PRICE , CONGRADULATIONS
THE WORKMANSHIP AND DECORATION ARE ABOVE AVERAGE ON THE HEAD OF THIS EXAMPLE, THE SHAFT IS PLAIN BUT DOES HAVE THE IRON BAND ON THE BUTT WHICH ALSO IS A SIGN OF BETTER WORKMANSHIP. MANY DON'T HAVE THE IRON BAND ON THE BUTT OF THE HANDLE. NICE CATCH. |

Thanks for the replies. I'm not very familiar with these weapons. Does the seller's estimate of the 19th century sound correct for how old it is? Thanks.
