Wonderful shashka on ebay
I'm certainly no expert on caucasian weapons, but it would be interesting to hear some comments about it.

Would you risk that money at buying in such conditions ?
As Asterix used to say: these Romans are crazy . |

I know little about these fantastic swords, but I have a few 'queries' regarding this particular example.
IMHO the sheath, or at least the covering, looks recent and the scabbard fittings 'sit' awkwardly. There is three (almost triangular) areas of the blade which are distinctly rusted which are almost equally distanced from each other...to me that seems 'strange'. The hilt also appears to be a relatively recent addition as well. Am I just too 'suspicious' and 'paranoid' ...or is my 'condition' a result of eBay-itis I wondered what others thought.
