ID Spears
Hi, here are two recent purchases. Are they both Maasai? The second one is a bit odd with wrought iron work and all. Any idea as too age? They came with usual WW11 bring back story. Thank You for your help, Archer
Thank goodness no jam or sock lint on those two spears. Oh, one ferrel still had some old wood it is white or light tan and very light weight, any idea the name such woods from maasai regions for replacement. Last edited by archer; 12th September 2007 at 01:47 AM. Reason: more info |

Ahh... The infamous and deadly toe spears . No really those are massai spears minus the shafts. You can give them a good cleaning to remove th active rust you can also make the hafts from oak or maple dowels and taper them at both ends if you wish. Middle 20th century sounds right to me.
