i want to sell these nice 17.th. ct. pata sword.
The entire handle is richly engraved with plants, leaves, and tendrils. The holes were not drilled, but rather hot-hammered, as can be clearly seen on the inside of the handle.
The handle is in its original condition; only a side cover rosette has been added; this is clearly visible from the missing patina. The blade has two edges and is in good condition for its age.
Tanjore pata swords are relatively rare.
