Default Klewang (?) 2

Hi folks

Is this piece named as Klewang ? Any information will be welcome. 540 gramm , 77 cm total. Lots of hollow forged grooves. Feals very light in the hand. A crack on the back but I think that will not be a big problem for the usage. My respect for that blacksmith. Maybe it is not a performance steel, no blinking things, just designed as a tool or weapon from my opinion.

Best regards thomas

Hi Thomas,
it's a Cojang (Co Jang, Gliwang), an Aceh sword. I've followed the auction. See for comparison here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...highlight=jang and here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...hlight=gliwang

Best,
Detlef
