Default French Vendetta Corse?

Hello,
Slip joint folder with 4.125" blade. No marks on blade. Hilt 5.25" long. Brass bolsters & butt caps. Steel liners & pins. Horn scales. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
RobT

Hello,

this knife is from Italy, and as far as I remember, from Sicily.
A similar knife is pictured in

Navajas Antiguas / Antique Clasp Knifes

by

Raphael Martinez Del Peral Y Forton

on page 169 in plate 179.

Best regards, Helge

Default Thanks

Inglered,
Thanks so much for the ID. I would assume that my knife is the Sicilian folding version of the fixed blade Vendetta knife?. Do you have any idea how old it is?
Sincerely,
RobT
